What's the difference between Class A, B, and C?

Class A: combo vehicles (18-wheelers). Class B: single heavy vehicle (buses, dump trucks). Class C: smaller hazmat or 16+ passenger vehicles.

Do I need a CDL for a box truck?

CDL required only if GVWR exceeds 26,001 lbs (Class B) or if the vehicle carries hazmat or 16+ passengers.

How long is the HazMat endorsement valid?

5 years — requires a TSA background check (fingerprints). Cannot have certain criminal convictions.
