When does the INBDE replace the old NBDEs?

INBDE replaced NBDE Part I and II starting August 2020. All new dental graduates take INBDE.

How long should I study?

Most dental students do a 4โ€“6 week dedicated study period after D3.

Is it curved?

No โ€” passing standard is fixed via Angoff methodology. Your performance doesn't depend on others.

How many times can I retake?

Up to 3 attempts per year, with a 90-day wait between attempts. Max 5 lifetime.

Are there practice tests?

Yes โ€” the Joint Commission on National Dental Examinations publishes an official candidate guide with sample questions.
