How is the PANCE scored?

200–800 scale with a passing score of approximately 350. Exact scaled score isn't typically used by employers — only pass/fail.

When can I take the PANCE?

After graduating from an accredited PA program. Most students test within 1–2 months of graduation.

How many times can I retake?

Up to 6 attempts over 6 years. After that you must complete remediation coursework.

What resources do PA students use?

Rosh Review, PANCE Prep Pearls, Kaplan, and ExamMaster Qbank are the most popular.

Is there a clinical skills portion?

No — PANCE is entirely multiple choice. Clinical skills are assessed during PA school rotations.
