How quickly are PTE results available?
Usually within 5 business days; often within 24–48 hours. Much faster than IELTS (3–13 days).
Is PTE accepted by Australian immigration?
Yes — DIBP/Home Affairs accepts PTE Academic for all visa categories.
What score do I need for UK Skilled Worker visa?
UK immigration accepts PTE Core (not Academic). For Academic: UKVI PTE requires 51+ in each skill.
Is PTE harder than IELTS?
Comparable difficulty. PTE's AI scoring removes examiner bias. 'Describe Image' and 'Re-tell Lecture' catch many off guard.
What's a good score?
65+ for most university admissions. 79+ for Australian Proficient English. 90 = perfect.
