Key Vocabulary
VLOS
Visual Line of Sight — the operator must maintain unaided sight of the drone at all times.
LAANC
Low Altitude Authorization and Notification Capability — automated airspace authorization system.
TFR
Temporary Flight Restriction — airspace closed to all or certain aircraft temporarily.
AGL
Above Ground Level — altitude measured from the ground below the aircraft.
