Scoring Overview
TOPIK II: 300 total points (each section 100). Level 3: 120+; Level 4: 150+; Level 5: 190+; Level 6: 230+. Writing section is human-graded for extended responses. Results in 4–6 weeks.

Study Tips
- 1.Download all official past TOPIK exams from topik.go.kr — they are free and the most accurate practice.
- 2.Writing: master essay structure and formal connectors. A well-structured essay at Level 4 scores better than a complex but disorganized one.
- 3.Vocabulary: study Sino-Korean (한자어) word roots — they account for ~60% of written Korean vocabulary.
- 4.Listening: watch Korean news (KBS News 9) and dramas at natural speed without subtitles.
- 5.Grammar: Korean Grammar in Use (Intermediate and Advanced) covers TOPIK 3–6 grammar patterns.
- 6.Set a word count target when writing essays — stopping at 600 words is a common mistake.
